Telephone Interconnect

Telephone Interconnect allows making calls from SIP based IP PBX or soft phone applications to WalkieFleet groups or users over SIP trunk protocol.

Telephone Interconnect Settings
Telephone Interconnect settings are done in the Network Settings window of the Server Manager
List of users on the SIP tab represents SIP contacts which may do a call to WalkieFleet group or user. In case when a telephone call is done by a listed contact it is displayed as user name in a corresponding user interfaces.
SIP Settings
  • Enable SIP Gateway - Enables SIP gateway on the network for incoming connection from IP PBX or soft phone applications.
  • Server SIP Port - SIP port of the gateway.
  • Authentication Required - Enables protected connection to the gateway.
Making a telephone call to a WalkieFleet user or group
IP PBX or SIP phone should establish SIP trunk connection to the WalkieFleet server over "Server SIP Port".
  • SIP name of a group is a group name without spaces.
  • SIP name of a user is the user login name.

Example of a group SIP address: mygroup@192.168.1.45:5060
  • mygroup - SIP name of a group. Original group name may be "mygroup" or "my group"
  • 192.168.1.45 - IP address of the WalkieFleet server
  • 5060 - Server SIP Port defined in the SIP Settings window
